ESPN Tournament Challenge 2022

No Perfect Brackets Remain in ESPN Tournament Challenge

Despite the excitement of the first weekend of tournament play, both the men’s and women’s ESPN Tournament Challenge games have seen all perfect brackets eliminated.

Women’s Tournament Update

In the women’s tournament, the Greensboro Region saw a major upset as No. 10 Creighton defeated No. 2 Iowa, knocking out the final two perfect brackets.

Men’s Tournament Update

For the second year in a row, the men’s tournament saw the quest for a perfect bracket come to an end before the weekend. This year, it was No. 11 Iowa State’s victory over No. 6 LSU in the Midwest Region on Friday that eliminated the final two perfect brackets. Additionally, more than 31% of men’s brackets have already lost their champion pick, with the most common eliminated champion selections being No. 2 Kentucky (6.9% of brackets) and No. 1 Baylor (5.4%).
