In the latest episode of “Alchemy of Souls,” Jang-uk and Bu-yeon spend quality time together before attending Master Lee’s wedding ceremony. During the ceremony, Master Lee reveals to Jang-uk that Bu-yeon is actually Cho-Yeong, and that Jang-uk has previously incarnated as Mu-deok and Naksu.

Park-jin arrives at Jinyowon and fights off the black wraiths to shut the portal and protect Kim, who is trapped inside with Ho-gyeong. However, Jin-mu ultimately stabs Park-jin through the heart, causing him to pass away.
As the episode comes to a close, Jang-uk finds out about the deaths of Park-jin, Kim, and Ho-gyeong and vows to bring Jin-mu to justice. He also makes a shocking discovery about his own identity as the Fire Bird.
